Lisa recently refreshed the theme of her portfolio / blog and posted a gallery of her Advanced Higher Art & Design work. The gallery of work was selected specifically to satisfy the requirements of her application for a place on the Graphic Design course at Napier University. Napier University stipulated that applicants must post some examples of work on-line, to be considered for interview for a place on the course. Lisa posted the gallery of work on Saturday 20th February, and has already heard from Napier that she's through to the next stage: she's been invited to attend an interview. Kirsty left us in June 2007, and is currently studying at Telford College. This summer she hopes to be employed as an art / craft / design instructor at summer camp in USA. In September, she's aiming to gain a place on a fashion / textiles course, in Galashiels or Dundee. Last year Kirsty launched a blog to display her course work. Something new for folio1.org - a former pupil signing up for a sub-domain here, to run a design / portfolio blog. Paul intends to use the blog to show the development of his work from his studies to employment, as well as his current projects. This is his first try at using WordPress, though he is familiar with PHP, html & CSS so is finding it relatively simple to grasp. He says he might start using WordPress to develop sites that clients can maintain themselves. http://www.paulvfinch.co.uk- Paul's portfolio site.

Our WordPress pupil portfolio site template has been updated, removing static pages. It now relies on 'categories' to generate pages. The template is a modification of Wordpress's default 'Kubrick' theme. The site is at - http://simplesite10.folio1.org.
