Sarah is in the final year of the Product Design course at Glasgow School of Art.

She has reached a landmark with her project to come up with a way to help rural communities that lose their post office.

On her blog, she's posted her final presentation boards, along with a short film explaining her idea - see below.

Sarah is now keen to receive feedback on her proposal.

Her blog is at -

Fraser almost started the Advanced Higher Graphics course, but left just before sixth year commenced, to go full time at his jam making enterprise.

That was back in June of 2004, and Fraser now has a thriving business, with his 'Super Jam' sold in several national supermarket chains. Fraser has become adept at promoting his products, and it has become commonplace to learn that he has appeared on national radio or television.

According to his web site, Fraser's Grandmother first got him interested in jam making, when he was fourteen. The site includes a blog, where he discusses what he's been up to from week to week, and the photo posted below was taken from there.  It shows Fraser receiving the Glenfiddich 'Spirit of Scotland' Entrepreneur Award from Mike Gilson, editor of The Scotsman newspaper.

In December, Fraser received the John Logie Baird award in the 'Young Innovator' category, and just before New Year, Sky News did a item about Fraser and Super Jam.

Fashion, Burlesque, Pin-Up & Music Photographer.

After leaving us in 2004, Loraine spent a year at Telford College studying Foundation Art & Design. She then studied for two years at Edinburgh College of Art specializing in Tapestry.  She left art college at the end of second year, in 2007, to follow her passion for photography.

Much of Loraine's early photographic work was centred on the music industry, particularly live performances, but she continues to broadened her activities.

Her images have appeared in: The Scotsman; The Sunday Herald; various music magazines, including the NME; and in advertising campaigns.

Loraine's flickr photostream features lots of stunning images, including the one posted here.  Unfortunately, the photos posted there, and on her 'MySpace' site, are not considered by school management to be in keeping with the Royal High 'brand', so the links originally provided below have been disabled.

Loraine will be launching a new portfolio web site early in 2009.
