Gemma is three years in to the illustration course at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. In early July she launched a blog to feature her work, and has already posted lots of images. She says that she's currently fascinated by vintage toys, and it shows in her work. Gemma is using Blogger's free hosting service for her blog, but may eventually progress to a stand-alone portfolio site. Her blog is at www.gemmavalentine.blogspot.com
Make sure you visit the links to other illustrators that Gemma has from her blog. In particular, Gail Armstrong, Alan Baker and Claire Scully. |

Asuna left us in 2004, to study at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. She recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Animation and Electronic Media. Since completing her studies, Asuna has been busy creating an elegant portfolio web site at www.azuna1.co.uk. Be sure to follow the links there to watch her final degree piece, a film called 'Pipe Dream'. Look out for the 'making of' clips of the film too. The images below were take from Asuna's site.

Emily left us in 2003, and following four years of study, graduated with first class honours at Edinburgh College of Art, having specialised in textile design. She was offered a scholarship to then complete a Masters, and she informs us her show will be in August. Emily recently launched a blog, to show off her design work, and the images below are featured there, along with some background info. You'll find the blog at http://emilyhogarth.blogspot.com
